Reginald Noble

Reginald Noble was the only son of Frederick and Elizabeth Ann Noble of 3 Oval Road, Rushden.

He died on 7th June 1944, aged 29 years, and is commemorated on the Bayeux Memorial, Panel 13, Column 2.

Private Noble had been in the Army for over three years, and was formerly employed at Messrs John White's Newton Road factory.

He was educated at the Newton Road and Intermediate Schools.

He went through the Park Road Methodist Sunday School and Bible Class, and later became a member of the Men's Adult School and the Young Men's Institute, for whom he played football.
