Safety Procedures for Services

Coronavirus Update effective from 19th July 2021

The Trustees met on 13th July to discuss the lifting of restrictions for Services from 19th July. One of the aims of the latest government step is to enable the public to make informed decisions. Whilst always adhering to government advice, the Trustees are urging some caution for the sake of others in the church, community and for self-care.

  • Please do not come to the chapel if you feel unwell.

  • It is your personal choice to wear a face covering, but this is no longer mandatory.

  • We will not be taking temperatures on arrival.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available for use on entering.

  • We will continue to take name and contact details on arrival and the NHS Covid 19 app QR Code remains.

  • We will resume communcal hymn singing during the service.

  • We will refrain from offering Holy Communion for the time being, but will keep this under review.

  • We will continue to use an entry or retiring collection rather than hand-to-hand offering collection during the service.

  • We will resume offering refreshments after the service from the foyer servery for those that would like to partake.

  • We urge continued social distancing whilst on the premises.

We will continue to monitor Pubic Health guidance relating to Coronavirus and inform you if we need to alter this approach.
